DESCRIZIONE:

When we first considered buying a home in Italy we were concerned about how the legal process would work and just how accurate the details provided by the estate agents might be. We therefore looked on the internet and identified a few properties we liked the look of in the Tuscany/Umbria area and tried to choose who we would contact to help us in our search for our Italian home.Luckily for us we called Riccardo and Marta first, and from our very first telephone conversation with Marta we knew that they wanted to help us find a property that we loved.
Shortly after we flew across to meet them and have a look at a number of properties. Riccardo drove us around for two days and Marta for a third, each day visiting many properties that we had between us selected as being the type of home we were looking for.Riccardo shared with us his passion for his homeland and Marta showed us that Italians are organised, friendly, can keep to timescales and really want to welcome us into their lives. By the end of the week we had signed for a property and have never looked back. That was 18 months ago and now we are look forward to spending as much time as possible in our beautiful Italian home. We have visited 9 times during the last year and each time we visit we know that should we need their help Riccardo and Marta will give it gladly.They have helped us with setting up bank accounts, paying gas, electric and water bills and countless other things. We still see them when we are in Italy, but now we see them as friends to share a conversation with not someone helping us buy a property. Come to think of it that’s how we have always seen them and long may it remain so. Thank you Riccardo and Marta, we too now share your love for this beautiful part of Italy.
