CHALET AND LUXURY VILLAS FOR SALE IN INNSBRUCK, AUSTRIA

Innsbruck is located where once stood the Roman castrum of Veldidena (today the district of Wilten). The name literally means "bridge over the Inn" and the Roman castrum was in fact a border town until the last years of the Empire's life. In 1187 the city was named in a series of documents and in those years the fortification of the village led to a quick economic and mercantile development. In 1248 the city passed to the Counts of Tyrol and became the capital of the county in 1420 (replacing Merano). With the Peace of Pressburg (1805) the city passed to Bavaria and then returned into Austrian hands in 1815.

The city is today a typical Austrian town, where it is possible to find traditional buildings in imperial and baroque style.

Romolini Immobiliare offers a selection of chalets, luxury villas and luxury apartments in the historic center of Innsbruck and the surrounding mountains, dotted with ski resorts.
