Château

In a quiet and private position along the river Vienne we find this exquisite medieval château with park. The property features over 2,000 m² of livable surface with a total of 24 bedrooms and 22 bathrooms and is currently working as a luxury boutique hotel. The park, designed by a famous Italian landscape architect, covers roughly 34,000 m² and accommodated a heated 12 × 6 m swimming pool.

DESCRIPTION OF THE BUILDINGS

The château (1.329 m² – 14,305 ft²), dating back to the 13th century and reworked over the following centuries, has been finely restored by using high-quality materials and attentively preserving the original features (stone fireplaces, hardwood flooring, frescoed vaulted ceilings…). The building is laid over five floors organized as follows:

• Basement: cellar and boiler room;
• Ground floor: entrance room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, storage rooms, three bedrooms and four bathrooms;
• First floor: decorated hall, office, studio, four suites and meeting hall;
• Second floor: sitting room, studio, three suites, three bedrooms and bathroom;
• Third floor: ample suite.

The tower N°1 (120 m² – 1,292 ft²) was built in the Renaissance and now, finely restored, accommodates three fine suites, one on each floor.

The tower N°2 (357 m² – 3,843 ft²) is laid over four floors organized as follows:

• Ground floor: living hall (formerly a kitchen for the castle) and suite;
