Apulia - Brindisi - Ostuni

Apulia, located in the southeastern tip of Italy, is a region of remarkable natural beauty, ancient traditions, and stunning coastlines. Often called the "heel" of Italy’s boot, Apulia is bordered by the Adriatic and Ionian Seas, offering some of the most pristine beaches in the country. Its long, sun-drenched coastline stretches for hundreds of kilometers, dotted with golden sands, dramatic cliffs, and crystal-clear waters, making it a paradise for beach lovers and nature enthusiasts alike.

The Gargano Peninsula, in northern Apulia, is a rugged, mountainous promontory that juts into the Adriatic Sea. Known as the "spur of Italy’s boot," it boasts towering cliffs, hidden coves, and the striking Foresta Umbra, a lush forest that is perfect for hiking and exploring. The coastline here is particularly dramatic, with sea caves, arches, and pristine beaches like Baia delle Zagare and Vignanotica offering secluded spots to relax and enjoy the turquoise waters. The nearby Tremiti Islands, a small archipelago off the Gargano coast, are a marine reserve famous for their unspoiled beauty and are ideal for diving and snorkeling.

Further south, the Salento Peninsula forms the "heel" of Italy, with a coastline that seamlessly transitions between the Adriatic and Ionian Seas. The Maldive del Salento in the Ionian Sea, with its fine white sand and shallow, crystal-clear waters, is a popular destination for those seeking a tropical-like experience in Italy. The Adriatic side offers equally stunning beaches, like Porto Badisco and the sea cliffs of Santa Maria di Leuca, the southernmost tip of Apulia, where the two seas meet.

Inland, Apulia’s landscape is a tapestry of olive groves, vineyards, and ancient farmlands. The region is famous for its centuries-old olive trees, which produce some of Italy’s finest extra virgin olive oil. The countryside is also home to the unique trulli houses, especially in the town of Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These whitewashed, conical-roofed stone houses create a fairytale-like atmosphere, offering visitors a glimpse into the region’s rich architectural heritage.

Apulia’s historic towns are as captivating as its natural beauty. Lecce, known as the "Florence of the South," is a baroque masterpiece with ornate churches, palaces, and Roman ruins. Ostuni, the "White City," perched on a hill overlooking the sea, dazzles with its whitewashed buildings and narrow streets. The port city of Bari, with its bustling old town and medieval Basilica di San Nicola, blends the energy of a modern city with deep historical roots.

Nature reserves like the Torre Guaceto on the Adriatic coast protect wetlands, sand dunes, and underwater marine life, offering peaceful spots for hiking, birdwatching, and exploring Apulia’s wild landscapes. The region’s limestone cliffs and caves, particularly around Polignano a Mare, are popular for cliff diving, offering an adventurous way to experience the stunning sea views.

Apulia’s combination of breathtaking coastlines, charming historic towns, and lush countryside makes it a region of extraordinary natural and cultural diversity. Whether sunbathing on its pristine beaches, exploring ancient olive groves, or wandering through its historic streets, Apulia offers an authentic Italian experience with a distinct Mediterranean flavor.

DESCRIPTION OF THE BUILDING

The hotel (1,953 m² – 21,014 ft², 20 rooms and 28 bathrooms) is laid over five floors connected by elevator. The basement houses a large garage (for up to 9 vehicles), the warehouses with cold storages and a spa area currently under development.

On the mezzanine floor are the living and common areas, which include the entrance hall with reception and bar, the professional kitchen and a large restaurant room with 120 seats and breakfast corner.

Going up to the first floor one finds a spacious multimedia room equipped for conferences, seminars or company meetings, and ten bedrooms with private bathrooms. On the second floor are ten more bedrooms with private bathrooms. The bedrooms are all equipped with hot/cold air conditioning, whirlwind tubs/showers and a magnetic card door-opening system.

The highest floor, on the other hand, is entirely occupied by a beautiful event hall (maximum capacity of 200 guests) with pavilion vaults in laminated wood and large windows overlooking the surrounding area.

All the technological, plumbing, lighting, electrical, lift and elevator systems, protection and safety devices (video surveillance), waste disposal and air-conditioning systems have been designed to minimize energy consumption and expenses. The air-conditioning system is remotely controllable with parameters for varying the cooled/heated volume, while the windows and doors are made of wood with double glazing and an insulating frame.

EXTERIORS

The outdoor areas (approximately 550 m² – 5,918 ft²) are all green and paved. The 14 × 7 m swimming pool (irregular in shape) is located in a corner of the complex, sheltered by the vegetation surrounding the property on all sides. At the back of the building, a staircase rises to the paved terrace on the first floor where there is also a staircase that goes up to the upper levels: this allows guests to reach rooms directly from outside without having to pass through the hotel lobby.
