LUXURY PROPERTIES FOR SALE IN RIETI, LAZIO

The origins of Rieti are lost in legend, as is unknown the way in which the Rieti sabina and Rome interacted at the beginning. What is certain is that Rieti was slowly incorporated into the Roman possessions and finally subjected in 290 BC by the consul Manio Curio Dentato. In the Middle Ages the city was sacked and destroyed several times and as a result of the reconstruction declared itself a free city, allied with the Pope. The papal domination lasted unchallenged until 1798 when the French descended into Italy and established the Roman Republic. The Congress of Vienna reassigned the city to the Pope who retained control until September 23, 1860, when a plebiscite voted with overwhelming majority for the annexation of Rieti to the Kingdom of Italy. The province of Rieti was established only in 1927, during the Fascist era, with Royal Decree.

Despite being a relatively small town, Rieti hosts several noteworthy monuments: the Cathedral Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, the Church of San Francesco, the Palazzo Comunale, Palazzo Dosi-Delfini and Palazzo Vecchiarelli.

In this city not far from Rome and the homonym province, Romolini Immobiliare offers a selection of prestigious villas for sale, apartments in the historic center, castles for sale and luxury properties for sale.

Set in the picturesque hilly landscape of Alta Sabina, this small wine estate is located near the characteristic medieval village of Rocca Sinibalda, in the Cervia and Navegna mountains reserve, 5 km from Lake Turano.

The property extends over 6.8 hectares entirely fenced, of which about 6.1 are dedicated to vineyard cultivation, among oak, holm oak, and hornbeam woods – producing two types of wine, a white (Sauvignon Blanc) and a red (Montepulciano, Cesanese, and Sangiovese). To date, the wine production and sales activity is leased to a sector company. The wines have received numerous awards and are available in various Lazio wine shops.

The property is situated in a landscape of great value, characterized by gentle hills, forests, and open views of the surrounding nature. The strategic location, combined with the presence of productive vineyards, an equipped cellar, and a prestigious residence, gives the estate high potential for both agricultural and touristic hospitality.
