Val d'Orcia

This elegant historic palazzo, already existing in the 14th century, belonged to a noble Sienese family that counted among its most illustrious members two popes. The building was skillfully renovated in 2021 with a conservative approach and transformed into an elegant historic residence that combines the charm of history with the comfort of modern times. • Basement: private cellar, pantry and gym. The floor can be accessed directly by the kitchen above.
• Ground floor: entrance room, library, hallway, office, TV room with library and fireplace, laundry, kitchen, ample living room with fireplace and dining room. The technical room of the building can be accessed independently from outside.

The castle is already documented in the 12th century as a property of the Salimbeni family, until it was bought by the Republic of Siena between 1250 and 1258. The hamlet became a farming estate, owned by the Piccolomini-Clementini family.
