The vineyard (26.8 ha) is mostly composed of Tuscan varieties (Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Trebbiano, Traminer, and Colorino) but also includes foreign grapes (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay) which, together with the sandy-clay soils of the estate, give the wines distinctive and sought-after characteristics. The annual production is around 150,000 bottles of wine:

The olive groves (28.5 ha) consist of about 4,500 plants of Frantoio, Moraiolo, Leccino, and Pendolino varieties, which allow the production of about 7,000 kg of extra virgin olive oil every year.

The wine cellar was established in what was once the prison workshop (previously already used as a winery) and could be expanded through the renovation of other parts of the prison.

It is important to note that the winery owns both its own land (approximately 5.5 ha) and leased plots (22.8 ha). The winery itself is housed in a building owned by the municipality, which has granted the company a 40-year lease (expiring in 2053).

Services for daily needs (including schools) are available in the town of Capraia (3 km; 10 min). The ferry service connects the island to the mainland with a stop in Livorno (about 3 hours 30 minutes), and from there you can easily travel throughout Tuscany.
