OBJEKTBESCHREIBUNG

Das Hotel (2.350 Quadratmeter, 55 Schlafzimmer und 61 Badezimmer) ist ein großes Gebäude, das um einen zentralen Innenhof gruppiert ist und an alte toskanische Bauernhäuser erinnert. Die Schlafzimmer sind alle in einem einzigartigen Stil eingerichtet und bieten einen Panoramablick auf die umliegende Landschaft. Neben den Schlafzimmern verfügt das Gebäude über geräumige Gemeinschaftsbereiche, darunter die Rezeption, ein elegantes Restaurant mit professioneller Küche, eine Loungebar und eine Veranda mit Blick auf den Park.

Ein Landhaus aus Stein (293 m², 8 Schlafzimmer und 8 Badezimmer) unweit des Hotels beherbergt vier Wohnungen mit eigenem Eingang, ideal für alle, die mehr Privatsphäre oder längere Aufenthalte suchen:

• Wohnung A: Wohnzimmer, Küche, zwei Schlafzimmer und zwei Badezimmer;
• Wohnung B: Wohnzimmer, Küche, zwei Schlafzimmer und zwei Badezimmer;

Das Anwesen wurde vollständig mit hochwertigen Materialien restauriert, wobei die typisch toskanischen architektonischen Merkmale wie Balken, Terrakottaböden und Steinwände  erhalten blieben. Es ist kein Zufall, dass die tragende Säule des Betriebs der Weinberg (19,5 ha) mit den Bezeichnungen Chianti DOCG (12 ha – 95.000 Flaschen), Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG (2,5 ha – 20.000 Flaschen) und Toscana IGT (5,0 ha – 45.000 Flaschen) ist. Angebaut werden die Sorten Sangiovese, Vernaccia, Trebbiano, Canaiolo, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay und Malvasia, die von den 1970er-Jahren bis 2017 reichen.. Der Betrieb produziert derzeit folgende Weine:

• Toscana Bianco IGT: Chardonnay 100%

Hinzu kommen der Olivenhain (9,1 Hektar, der jährlich ca. 3.000 kg Öl produziert) und große Ackerflächen (110,9 Hektar) mit hervorragender Lage: Diese hügeligen Gelände ohne übermäßige Neigung eignen sich ideal für das Pflanzen neuer Weinreben und/oder Olivenbäume oder für die Pferdezucht. Der Wald (27,0 Hektar) erstreckt sich hauptsächlich im südlichen Teil des Grundstücks und bietet den Gästen viel Privatsphäre und Ruhe.

Nestled in the enchanting Tuscan countryside of Casole d’Elsa, about 30 kilometers west of Siena, lies a small medieval village that exudes the essence of history. Although its name hints at Etruscan origins, the earliest documented records of this village date back to 994 AD, when a local nobleman gifted the entire village to his wife as a wedding present. The village's strategic location near Siena led to its development as a fortified castle, forming part of a defensive line along the Montagnola ridge to protect the Sienese state.

The history of this remarkable place extends through the ages, reaching a poignant chapter during World War II. It was then that local farmers, displaying immense courage and compassion, sheltered a Jewish family from Nazi persecution by falsifying their documents. In 2019, these brave individuals were posthumously honored as Righteous Among the Nations by Yad Vashem in Jerusalem.

The expansive complex comprises fourteen buildings, including two towers, the main palace, and the church dedicated to Saint Peter with its rectory. Each structure features characteristic mixed stone masonry, reflecting the timeless craftsmanship of the region.

While some of these buildings have stood vacant for many years, others were inhabited until just a few decades ago, making the task of restoration more straightforward for some structures. GESCHICHTE DES ANWESENS

Das Anwesen, das nicht weit von San Gimignano entfernt liegt, erscheint erstmails in Unterlagen aus dem frühen 14. Jahrhundert: Die Geschichte des Komplexes ist eng mit der einer nahe gelegenen Villa verbunden, die sich damals einer berühmten toskanischen Familie gehörte. Das Gebäude, das heute das Herzstück des Anwesens ist, war ursprünglich ein Aussichtsturm.

Der gesamte Podere wurde 1410 von einer anderen Adelsfamilie gekauft und blieb in ihren Händen, bis einige schlechte finanzielle Entscheidungen sie zwangen, das Anwesen an den Erzbischof von Pisa zu verkaufen.

Im Jahr 1867 brachte die Heirat eines Erben des Erzbischofs mit einem Mitglied der savoyischen Familie die Villa mit seinen Besitztümern in die Hände der königlichen Familie. Die Savoyen blieben bis 1946 Eigentümer (das Jahr des berühmten Referundums und des Exils des Königs von Italien), wonach das Anwesen in die Hände einer Gräfin überging.

Gegen Ende der neunziger Jahre wurde die jahrzehntelang verlassene Villa von den aktuellen Eigentümer erworben, die die Gebäude durch eine sorgfältige Wiederherstellung wieder in ihre ursprüngliche Schönheit zurückbrachten.

On the Chianti hills, halfway between Florence and Siena, period house with private chapel to be restored for sale. The property, over 1,400 m² in total, consists of four buildings (a period villa, two rustic farmhouses and a chapel) surrounded by 8.5 hectares of land.
